Western Branch High School
Class of 1979

Hi Classmates,

2020 was HARD and it was the year that just kept giving all the way through 2021. Here we are looking at the spring of 2022 already.  There is so much going on in the world right now, it seems like the perfect time to reflect on easier simpler days and come together as only Bruins can.  So, let's get together.

When we held the 40th reunion, numerous classmates spoke about not waiting another ten years to get together again especially since the memory wall continues to grow. We want to take every opportunity to reconnect with friends from our youth.  So, we decided to try to come together annually for much less formal events.

Do you remember June Jubilee? It was one of the best days of the school year. We are hoping you will join us this year for the annual get together. Best of all, it's the first Friday and Saturday in June. Our very own June Jubilee after 43 years.

We heard you when you said a casual, low-key get together with bigger events every five years works best for most people. We think we came up with a pretty great plan and hope you do too.

With that in mind, we reserved the back room at East Side Pizza on Portsmouth Blvd for Friday night, June 3 to meet for dinner and drinks. Room held starting at 6pm til around 9pm

But, that's not all.....

We're also heading to the beach on Saturday, June 4. We're meeting at New Realm Brewery on General Booth Blvd at 3:00pm.

Neither event requires a ticket, but we need to know if you're planning on attending Friday is limited, so we need your RSVP now. There's no upfront cost, just whatever your tab ends up being at both places.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. June is right around the corner
